§ 152.02. PURPOSE AND SCOPE.

  • (A) Purpose. It is the purpose of this chapter to provide a just, equitable, and practical method for requiring buildings or structures which may endanger the life, limb, health, morals, property, safety or welfare of the general public or their occupants, to be vacated, repaired, and/or demolished.
    (B) Scope. The provisions of this chapter shall apply to all dangerous or unsafe buildings, as herein defined, which are now in existence or which may hereafter become dangerous or unsafe in this jurisdiction.
